A Flats nightlife icon gets a fresh look, new ownership and a new menu while keeping its classic riverfront views and boat-up charm.
For Northeast Ohioans of a certain age, Shooters Cleveland represents the golden era of the Flats nightlife scene from the ‘80s and ‘90s. Following an ownership change —with investors including hometown musician Machine Gun Kelly — and a refresh in 2025, it looks better than ever, brightening up while still offering the familiar blue and white tile, opportunities for boats to dock and order meals and expansive vistas of the Cuyahoga Riverfront. The menu — never the restaurant’s biggest selling point — has also changed, with chef Ryan Boone, whose previous stops included the late, lamented Greenhouse Tavern, offering brunch, dinner and late-night options. shooterscleveland.com
