2025 Summer Fun Guide — When to Visit Cedar Point
Discover music, dancing, food, drinks, games and more at America's Roller Coast.

Thrill Seekers — Get to Cedar Point, located in Sandusky, Ohio, for Boardwalk Nights, taking place July 18 to Aug. 17.
You’ll never miss a live band because it’s always happening. Cue the dance party, cirque-style acts and interactive contests, too. “You can’t walk across the Boardwalk without coming across some type of live spectacle,” says Tony Clark of Six Flags Entertainment’s Cedar Point.
HIS TIP: Scan digital guides during the event to find out what’s happening in the moment so you can get where you want to go.
Expect “over the top.” The whole family’s invited for music, dancing, food, drinks and games. “It’s the perfect addition to a day at Cedar Point,” Clark says.
CUT THE LINE: Cedar Point in mid-summer is a go-to venue, so if you’re looking for faster access to rides, shoot for cooler shoulder weekends in May and early June and again in late August, Clark advises. Sundays in-season are also not as busy. Getting a Fast Lane Plus pass also can expedite your day. Finally, Clark advises walking right past the long lines you’ll find as you enter the park. “Work your way back in the park and start there.”
NOW OPEN: Top Thrill 2 had an extended closure last year but it’s back on track. New this year is Siren’s Curse roller coaster.
