For nightlife lovers of a certain age, there’s no place like Shooters on the West Bank of the Flats in Cleveland. The Key West-themed bar opened in 1987 as part of the rebirth of the Cuyahoga Riverfront, and quickly became a place to see and be seen in Cleveland summers. The bar/restaurant has been undergoing a complete remodel, with plans to reopen — possibly even later this year — as Shooters Yacht Club. Among the new ownership group? Cleveland musician Machine Gun Kelly.
