Take a tour, tee up, enjoy a parade, hop on a carousel and more on South Bass Island.

1. Tee Up
At War of 18 Holes Miniature Golf, every hole offers a peek into the past with historical snapshots about Commodore Perry, the Battle of Lake Erie and War of 1812. This is just one of the many features at Perry’s Cave Family Fun Center, which also is home to a challenging life-sized maze, butterfly house, rock climbing wall, gemstone mining and more. perryscave.com

2. Take a Tour
At Heineman’s Winery, indulge in a combo tour of the Crystal Cave and Wine Cellar, which includes a 5-ounce glass of wine or grape juice. Crystal Cave is the world’s largest geode, discovered in 1897. During Prohibition when other wineries on the island closed, Heineman’s was able to stay open by offering tours of Crystal Cave. heinemanswinery.com

3. Line Up for the Parade
Every Sunday at 2 p.m. during summer months, a parade of antique cars from many eras winds its way around the streets of Put-in-Bay. Head to DeRivera Park for a great view, and pick up some old-fashioned treats at the nearby Candy Bar. After the parade, island car owners and local businesses take turns hosting a post-parade party. visitputinbay.com
